  1. With all these gloomy reports that’s spreading virally across each news outlet, do you think that the media also plays a role in dampening the shopping mood for consumers? I’m starting to think that the media is contributing indirectly to the effects of a global recession by striking fear into consumers. Perhaps it’s just me, but let’s not forget that the media likes to sensationalize news to a certain extent in order to attract attention.
