If London designers are having better sales this season, it's probably due to the London-Paris showroom which took place.. brilliant idea and I hope its back next season. As for craftsmanship, it will continue to have its place (at the highest of the high end) but do you think a little recession is going to undo the effects of a decade of cheap junk? I hope, though, that luxury customers are being pushed to educate themselves by the crisis and will hopefully become more discerning. Interesting thoughts.
