@Elizabeth: Thanks for the feedback. We actually didn't say "Rocky Mountains," but rather "rocky mountains," which wasn't referring to the proper name for the mountain range which is indeed hundreds of miles to the east of Vancouver. But your point is well taken anyway, and our research suggests that Vancouver is actually nestled in the North Shore mountains, which form part of the Coast Mountains range, so we have updated the article to reflect that.

Um, excuse me, but Vancouver is NOT "nestled in the Rocky Mountains," which are 100s of miles east of the city. The Coast Mountains form a backdrop for the city, and are within an hour's drive ...

I didn't really think I would see Vancouver on this blog, but guess I was wrong. This is a great niche market just waiting to be tapped, for someone to really do something with it. I hope it's not Lululemon though; do they really need to branch out?

I'm so so excited about the bicycle style movement. Seems great for women, fashion, the wallet, and the environment.

Can't wait to see more families out cycling on safe, livable streets. Bike-friendly cities are the future.

I agree with Ulrike's comments...definitely an interesting yet practical concept for Lulu. I have also been seeing this fashion bicycle trend here downtown Toronto especially on Queen St. Very fashionable people on stylish bicycles...not your ordinary bike. It's intriguing actually - the lifestyle looked like so much fun I have been contemplating getting one.

Thanks for the Canadian article Imran!
Fashionably Yours,
K

I wonder if Lululemon will start designing a clothing line for people who ride bicycles? This is where independent clothing designers can set the trend... fashion that goes from the bike to the bistro - wrinkle-free and loaded with style.
