Lauren Goldstein Crowe offers her unique perspectives in our BoF Friday Column, where she tells it like she sees it.

Lauren has been a fashion journalist for over 10 years. Previously, she served as Senior Writer at Time magazine in London, where she conceived and launched Time’s first-ever fashion supplement, Time Style + Design and was the editor of Fashion Inc, a blog on the luxury business on Condenast’s Portfolio magazine website.

Lauren has also published articles in Fortune, Paris Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, the New York Times, British Vogue, the Financial Times and the Times, and has appeared as a fashion expert on CNN, Bloomberg, and the BBC.

In 2009, Bloomsbury will publish a book about the Jimmy Choo business, co-authored by Lauren and Sagra Maceira de Rosen.

Lauren has a master’s degree in Journalism from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, and undergraduate degrees in English and History from the University of Wisconsin—Madison.
