Vikram Alexei Kansara, Managing Editor, New York

Based in New York, Vikram Alexei Kansara is a strategic consultant to luxury fashion brands and our leading thinker on Fashion 2.0, providing us with insight and analysis from the front lines of digital media, marketing and technology.
Vikram spent five years in the agency world, developing strategic marketing campaigns for American Express, including groundbreaking digital philanthropy and social media initiative The Members Project, as well as product innovation strategies for American Express Centurion (”The Black Card”). He has also developed digital brand connection platforms around art, fashion, music and sport for Samsung electronics.
As a strategic consultant to fashion agencies, Vikram has developed digital brand activation strategies for luxury fashion and retail clients including Louis Vuitton, Calvin Klein and Topshop. His personal writing and photography have appeared in Purple Journal.
Vikram is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley (B.A., English) and New York University (M.P.S., Interactive Telecommunications Program).
