Agenda-setting intelligence, analysis and advice for the global fashion community.
LONDON, United Kingdom — Welcome to the new BoF! A few months ago, when we began thinking about refreshing the BoF website, we took a step back and looked at how BoF has grown over the last couple of years. Alongside our award-winning editorial content, we have added new components like BoF Careers and the BoF 500 and we wanted to better integrate these new services into the core site experience. Starting this week, you will start to see the progressive unveiling of a brand new website that more tightly weaves together the key elements of the BoF ecosystem.
We also thought about how to better spark conversation with and amongst our community. And, today, we are pleased to unveil BoF Voices, a new forum for discussion and debate where the global fashion community can come together to exchange ideas and opinions on the most important topics facing fashion today. One of my goals for BoF has always been to spark an Internet-enabled global conversation and BoF Voices is a big step in this direction.
We are kicking off the discussion with 7 ISSUES FACING FASHION NOW, the title and focus of our latest special print edition, which examines sustainability, the human cost of our supply chains, the dearth of women leaders, the preservation of craftsmanship and untapped business opportunities in technology, Africa and the plus-size market.
This week, we begin by asking, "How can the fashion industry become more sustainable?" To frame the debate, we have published in-depth case studies on sustainable luxury brand Stella McCartney and Inditex, the world's largest fashion retailer, as well as opinions from Julie Gilhart, Mesh Chhibber and Linda Greer.
We invite you to join industry leaders and experts and share your own opinions and ideas on this issue and many more, which we will be discussing in the weeks and months to come.
Together, we have the power to tackle the big topics facing fashion and drive the industry forward.
