LONDON, United Kingdom — BoF compiles the most important professional moves of the week.

Jeff Rudes Leaving J Brand
Jeff Rudes, the founder and chief executive of premium denim label J Brand, is exiting the label he began almost a decade ago. "After nine extraordinary years building J Brand, it's time for me to move on and create what's next," said Rudes. Andrew Rosen, a group officer of Fast Retailing, which acquired an 80.1 percent stake in J Brand in 2012, will replace Rudes until a successor is found. In the statement announcing his departure, Rudes thanked Fast Retailing's president, chief executive and chairman Tadashi Yanai for "a rewarding partnership over the past 18 months."

Paul Blum Tapped at Fred Segal
Following its acquisition of Fred Segal in 2012, Sandow and its partner, equity investor Evolution Media Partners, have appointed Paul Blum as chief executive of Fred Segal. Blum's appointment comes at a time of change for the retailer, which is aiming to transition to a directly-owned retail model. Blum has previously held roles at David Yurman, Juicy Couture, Kenneth Cole and will be based in Fred Segal's New York headquarters.

Sarah Richardson Exits i-D Amid New York Hires
Sarah Richardson has resigned from her post as global fashion director of i-D, which was acquired by Vice Media in late 2012. Sources stated that Richardson felt she would no longer feel creatively fulfilled in her role, as a result of the publication's new growth strategy. At the same time, the title has made a number of new hires in the US market. Rory Satran, previously content director at Opening Ceremony and editor-in-chief of the OC Annual, has been appointed New York editorial director. Diana Good has been named managing director and will oversee the transformation of i-D magazine into a global multi-platform media company. Freelance stylist Tracey Nicholson has been named New York fashion editor. And Bertie Brandes, who co-founded The Mushpit, a fashion fanzine offering young, alternative perspectives on fashion, will become features editor.

Ralph Rucci Appoints Joey Laurenti Chief Executive
Joey Laurenti took up the role of chief executive at Ralph Rucci on Wednesday. "I have been an admirer of Ralph Rucci for years and am honored to be part of the expansion and development of this iconic brand, focusing on strengthening retail relationships and developing new customers," said Laurenti in a statement. The executive joined the brand in a period of expansion, both in its native US market, and internationally. The brand intends to expand its points of sale and eventually open its own stores. Laurenti will continue in his role as president of Goods and Services, where he was previously chief executive. Prior to that role Laurenti was director of sales at Opening Ceremony.

Donata Minelli Named Chief Executive of Adam Lippes
Donato Minelli has joined Adam Lippes at his namesake brand, which the designer bought back from Kellwood Co last year. Minelli had been acting as an advisor to Lippes, who previously acted as both chief executive and creative director. Minelli, who began her career launching Marzotto, Ittierre and Aeffe in the United States, played a key role in growing Yigal Azrouël, which she joined in 1998 and exited as chief executive in 2013. "In a short period of time, we have laid a very strong foundation for growth, which starts with a passionate and capable team and is followed through at the retail level with a collection that we are all proud of, with quality and consistency being intrinsic in the company ethos," said Minelli in a statement.
