LONDON, United Kingdom – BoF compiles the most important professional moves of the week.

Marco Zanini Leaves Schiaparelli
Creative director Marco Zanini is leaving his role at couture house Schiaparelli, with immediate effect. Earlier in the week it was reported that the Italian designer felt the Diego Della Valle-owned brand was "not exactly his fit." Zanini's spell at Schiaparelli, during which he presented only two couture collections, followed a five year career at Rochas, where the designer received much critical acclaim. Prior to this, he worked in the design teams at houses including Versace, Halston and Dolce & Gabbana.

Anthony Ledru to Louis Vuitton Americas
Anthony Ledru is set to join Louis Vuitton as president and chief executive officer of the Americas, effective January 1. He succeeds Valérie Chapoulaud-Floquet, who left the company in August for Rémy Cointreau, where she is currently chief executive. Ledru has spent most of his career in the luxury sector on the American continent. He started at Cartier in Latin America and the United States as vice president of retail, then moved to Harry Winston International as global vice president of sales, before finally landing at Tiffany & Co, where he served as senior vice president of North America since 2013.

Gap's Director of Global Fashion Exits
Carolyne Rapp, director of global fashion and creative concepts at Gap, has exited her role at the multinational retailer. It is believed that her position has been eliminated and a replacement will not be found. Prior to joining Gap, Rapp was the creative manager at COS, an upscale clothing and accessories brand under the H&M umbrella.
