LONDON, United Kingdom — This week, Bain & Co released its spring update on the global luxury market and the news isn't good: sales will grow by no more than 2 percent this year. "The luxury market is stuck in a holding pattern for the foreseeable future," said Bain partner Claudia D'Arpizio. Even Hermès has seen growth slow, though the brand is bullish on women's ready-to-wear and plans to stage its first-ever pre-collection presentation in Paris on July 3rd.
