Power Moves | Thierry Andretta Leaves Lanvin, Michèle Huban to Take the Reins

PARIS, France — Thierry Andretta has stepped down as the managing director of Lanvin, a position he held since 2009. Michèle Huban, Lanvin’s current chief operating officer, will assume Andretta’s duties. Andretta joined the brand in 2008 as an executive vice president and was instrumental in the expansion of Lanvin’s global retail footprint. During his tenure, Andretta also made Lanvin’s leather goods business a strategic focus, with the aim of extending the level of distinction that creative director Alber Elbaz brought to the label’s womens ready-to-wear collections into accessories. A Lanvin spokesperson cited ‘personal reasons’ as the cause of Andretta’s departure.
