Biography

Brooke Wall is the chief executive and founder of the Wall Group, a management company that represents makeup artists, stylists, manicurists and hairstylists.

With offices in New York, LA, London and Paris, The Wall Group has over 150 clients and helped usher in the rise of the celebrity stylist. Representing the likes of Rachel Zoe, Lori Goldstein and Elizabeth Stewart, The Wall Group works with brands like Calvin Klein , Dior, Louis Vuitton and Givenchy.

The Wall Group was founded in 2000, after hair stylist John Frieda approached Wall about starting an agency. “Everyone who was behind the scenes, creating the actual looks, was underrepresented within the industry,” she told The New York Times in 2015. That year, it was acquired by WME/IMG for an undisclosed sum.

Born in Toronto and raised in Vancouver, Wall moved to London as a teenager, later relocating to New York at the age of 20. Her career really took off when she began working at the studio of Oribe, a hair stylist who was well known in the 1990s and worked with the likes of Christy Turlington, Linda Evangelista and Naomi Campbell . From here, she helped launch the beauty division of Ford Models with Katie Ford; six months later, she launched her own company, with the London branch opening in 2016. In her 14-year career, the executive has seen high profile red carpet events such as the Golden Globes and Oscars take the centre stage of the agency's work, providing stylists to celebrities. 

In 2019, the private equity firm Forté Capital Advisors sued The Wall Group, under the accusation of an anticipatory breach of contract, seeking damages of around $15 million.
