Since founding luxury Los Angeles-based concept boutique Maxfield’s, founder and creative director Tommy Perse has gained international renown for his chic and avant-garde aesthetic, represented through hand-picked edits of luxury apparel, rare art books, vintage luggage and real human skulls.  Launched the store in the early 70’s, Perse pioneered brands such as Giorgio Armani, Yohji Yamamoto and Comme des Garcons in the southern Californian state, earning instant acclaim and a cult following from discerning local shoppers. The store currently offers high-end labels such as Rick Owens, Libertine, Mastermind Japan and Celine alongside vintage Hermes and footwear from Guidi and is regularly frequented by high profile personalities.

Initially launched in West Hollywood, Perse has since founded a second boutique on Melrose Avenue and another in Malibu.
