The Hudson's Bay Company (HBC) (French: Compagnie de la Baie d'Hudson), commonly referred to as "The Bay" ("La Baie" in French) is the oldest commercial corporation in North America (in continuous operation for over 340 years) and one of the oldest in the world.

A fur trading business for much of its existence, today Hudson's Bay Company owns and operates retail stores throughout Canada and the United States, including Hudson's Bay, Home Outfitters, Lord & Taylor, Saks Fifth Avenue and two Zellers liquidation stores.

The company's head office is in the Simpson Tower in Toronto, Ontario, and is owned by the New York-based firm NRDC Equity Partners.
