Biography

Founder and creative art director of Li Inc, an advertising and graphic design studio based in New York, Patrick Li has collaborated on design projects with clients including Louis Vuitton, Rodarte and Hussein Chalayan. He has also worked with a number of editorial publications such as Colors, WSJ and T: The New York Times Style Magazine, where he is creative director.

Li’s passion for graphic design began whilst studying architecture at Berkeley in California. Securing a position at the innovative graphic design magazine Emigre after his graduation, Li worked on distribution, type-facing and pixel resolution before moving to New York in 1999. After working for a mix of publications including Interview and The Observer, Li joined the fashion art direction company Baron & Baron in 1993, gaining extensive experience under the guidance of Fabien Baron.
