In 2016, Allbirds launched with a single type of shoe, called Wool Runners, made from sheep's fleece. The eco-friendly style caught on, selling more than a million pairs in two years. Based in San Francisco, Allbirds is seeking a number of roles at its California headquarters, including UX designer, social media manager, and digital product designer.
British direct-to-consumer womenswear brand ME+EM was set up in 2009 by co-founder Clare Hornby, and now operates five stores across London, as well as being stocked in Selfridges. Beginning life as a loungewear brand, ME + EM now creates full ready-to-wear collections that bridge the gap between fast fashion and high end. Based in west London, the brand are seeking a number of roles, including buyer's admin assistant, garment technologist and assistant merchandiser.
Leather flip-flop brand TKEES was founded by husband and wife duo, Jesse and Carly Burnett, in St Barths. Now based in Canada, with manufacturing in Brazil, the brand is approaching its 10th anniversary, and has established a global presence through e-commerce and bricks-and-mortar retailers such as Net-A-Porter, Kith, United Arrows, Revolve, Bloomingdale's, Shopbop, and more. TKEES is recruiting for a social media manager and a creative team intern at its Toronto head office.
A three-story store based in Notting Hill, West London, Couverture & The Garbstore is a multi-brand retailer focused on championing emerging, independent and hard-to-find labels in menswear, womenswear, kidswear and home. Created by Emily Dyson and Ian Paley in 2008, the retailer is seeking a PR manager to join its team, based in the store.
