French Designer Paul Poiret, known as “le Magnifique,” opened his maison du couture Poiret in 1903. He was the first couturier to introduce perfumes commercially, have a logo and a lookbook. The brand recently reopened under the creative direction of Yiqing Yin, nearly 90 years after its closure, showing in Paris for Autumn/Winter 2018. Poiret is looking for a collection director in Paris.
Columbia College Chicago is a private, non-profit college offering a curriculum that blends creative and media arts, liberal arts, and business. The fashion department offers a Fashion Studies BA and a Fashion Design BFA.
