LONDON, United Kingdom — BoF compiles the most important professional moves of the week.

Ben Sherman CEO Leaves
Following the sale of Ben Sherman to US private equity firm Marquee Brands last month, chief executive and creative director Mark Maidment is leaving the company. Maidment first joined Ben Sherman in 2002 and was appointed creative director in 2005. He was named chief executive in 2013, following the exit of Pan Philippou. Following Maidment's departure, design director Mark Williams has been promoted to creative director. Simon Smith, chief restructuring officer, will become the company's interim chief executive.

Marks & Spencer's Womenswear Chief Exits
Frances Russell, who heads up Marks & Spencer's womenswear division, has exited the retailer. Russell's departure comes just three weeks after John Dixon, former executive director of general merchandise, unexpectedly stepped down. Director Jo Jenkins succeeds Russell, adding womenswear to her responsibilities of lingerie and beauty.

Yahoo Names Global Editor-in-Chief
Martha Nelson, former editor-in-chief of Time Inc., has been named as Yahoo Media's global editor-in-chief, effective August 17. Based in New York, Nelson will be responsible for helping to grow Yahoo's 13 US and 30 international titles. Nelson, who joined Time Inc. in 2012, was the company's first female editor-in-chief. Previously, she was the founding editor of InStyle magazine and editor of People.

Farfetch Adds Board Directors
Farfetch has added Danny Rimer, Jon Kamaluddin and Dana Evan to the company's board of directors. Rimer joins as investor director, replacing Robin Klein who left in May. Kamaluddin, the former international director of Asos.com, and Evan, a venture partner at Icon Ventures, join as non-executive directors, with the titles of chairman of the audit committee and chairman of the remuneration committee, respectively.

Michael Kors Names President of Japan
Daisuke Yamazaki has been appointed president of Michael Kors Japan, following the retirement of Toshi Tashiro. Yamasaki, who joins August 10, will report to Stephane Lafay, the company's president of Asia. Previously, Yamasaki was chief executive of Roberto Cavalli Japan and chief executive of the Alexander McQueen division at Gucci Japan Ltd.

Aliza Licht Exits DKNY
After DKNY wiped all past posts from its social media accounts on Tuesday, the company announced that Aliza Licht, senior vice president of communications, will step down from her role in the fall. Better known as DKNY PR Girl on Twitter, Instagram and Tumblr, Licht became an online personality, having provided a connection between fans and the New York-based fashion house. A statement from the company said that Licht will be "pursuing opportunities related to the recent launch of her first book, 'Leave Your Mark.'"

Erika Bearman Leaves Oscar de la Renta
Erika Bearman has departed her role as senior vice president of global communications at Oscar de la Renta, after six years with the company. Bearman, who was responsible for the popular Oscar PR Girl handle, has made the leap into consulting. Specialising in communications and branding; Oscar de la Renta will be her first client.

Moda Operandi Hires Senior VP of Marketing
Evelyn Kim, former chief marketing officer at Reed Krakoff, has joined Moda Operandi as senior vice president of marketing, effective August 17. Kim's role is part of a number of key hires at the luxury e-commerce site, as it expands its marketing and public relations team. Last month, Souri Kim, who was senior publicity director at KCD for seven years, left his role to become the company's first vice president of PR and communications.
