Agenda-setting intelligence, analysis and advice for the global fashion community.
LONDON, United Kingdom — Growing up in Calgary in the 1980s, far away from the world's main fashion capitals, I had only one window into the world of fashion, and that was Fashion File, a weekly television series produced by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation and hosted by the one and only Tim Blanks.
Tim's global point of view, intelligent commentary and perceptible passion for the fashion business struck a chord with me. And though it wasn't until many years later that I made my own foray into fashion, I credit Tim with opening my eyes to the industry in the first place.
So, it is with great pleasure, and not just a little bit of nostalgia, that I welcome Tim Blanks to the BoF team.
Beginning in September, BoF will begin to cover the most important fashion shows at the four main fashion weeks in New York, London, Milan and Paris, and I believe there is no better person to lead our coverage than Tim.

Why cover fashion shows in a crowded market where show imagery is everywhere, from media websites to social platforms? We saw a gap in the media landscape for an industry resource with a truly independent point of view on the shows, which would cut through the clutter and focus on the shows that matter with the same curated approach that has defined BoF from the very beginning.
To be amongst the first to get our daily fashion week coverage delivered straight to your inbox, register for free to become a BoF member today! Existing subscribers to our Daily Digest email newsletter will automatically receive our dedicated fashion week coverage every day during the shows.
If you are interested in sponsorship and advertising opportunities linked to our new fashion shows platform, please contact us here.
