Agenda-setting intelligence, analysis and advice for the global fashion community.
LONDON, United Kingdom — VOICES is The Business of Fashion's annual gathering bringing together the movers, shakers and trailblazers of the global fashion industry and uniting them with the big thinkers, entrepreneurs and inspiring people who are shaping the wider world. Through cross-industry learning and collaboration, VOICES unlocks exciting synergies and forges insights and learning that will transform your outlook on business — and life.
This year, our annual flagship event will be delivered via a live broadcast adapted for the unique circumstances of the Covid-19 era — and BoF Professional and BoF Professional Student members anywhere in the world can take part in this shared global experience as the industry looks ahead to 2021.
Over three days from December 1-3, 2020, we will broadcast a series of provocative talks and conversations in five carefully curated content sessions and interactive discussions designed to open your mind, lift your spirits and take you out of your comfort zone. New speakers will be announced each week.
Today, we reveal some of our confirmed speakers in Session 1: The Wider World, where we will explore the devastating impact of the Coronavirus on the world around us, including an in-depth talk with Laura Spinney, the writer and science journalist whose 2017 book, Pale Rider: The Spanish Flu of 1918 and How it Changed the World, provides an excellent understanding of the current pandemic and what lies ahead.
Global economists Kai-Fu Lee and Dambisa Moyo will be in conversation with Felix Salmon, the award-winning chief financial correspondent at Axios, to unravel how the virus will impact the global economy — and the fashion business from China to Africa as we look ahead to 2021.
Cambridge Analytica whistleblower Christopher Wylie will speak to Roger McNamee, one of the first investors in Facebook, an early mentor to Mark Zuckerberg and author of the New York Times bestseller, Zucked: Waking Up to the Facebook Catastrophe, to examine the growing power of technology companies — which have thrived through the lockdowns — and the calls from some antitrust authorities that they should be broken up.
BoF Professionals in 125 countries are invited to join us for VOICES 2020, including access to the live global broadcast and an exclusive first look at our highly-anticipated annual report in partnership with McKinsey & Company, The State of Fashion 2021.
For senior executives who want to go deeper, a VOICES 2020 Executive Pass will give you access to a special knowledge pack, including a physical copy of The State of Fashion 2021, bespoke networking opportunities and a more immersive VOICES experience. Earlybird Executive Passes are available until October 27th, 2020 at twenty five percent off.

From analysis of the global fashion and beauty industries to career and personal advice, BoF’s founder and CEO, Imran Amed, will be answering your questions on Sunday, February 18, 2024 during London Fashion Week.
The State of Fashion 2024 breaks down the 10 themes that will define the industry in the year ahead.
Imran Amed reviews the most important fashion stories of the year and shares his predictions on what this means for the industry in 2024.
After three days of inspiring talks, guests closed out BoF’s gathering for big thinkers with a black tie gala followed by an intimate performance from Rita Ora — guest starring Billy Porter.
