LONDON, United Kingdom — It's been a few weeks now since we unveiled BoF Voices, our new platform for discussion and debate where the fashion community can come together to exchange ideas and opinions on the most important topics facing fashion today.
Thus far, we have featured discussions on environmental sustainability, technology and the plus-size market, and in the coming weeks we will turn our focus to the preservation of craftsmanship and the human cost of fashion.
With this last topic in mind, next week in London on Fashion Revolution Day, the anniversary of the Rana Plaza disaster, we will be hosting a special panel discussion and pre-screening of The True Cost, a new documentary film about the fashion industry's impact on people and the planet. Afterwards, I will host a discussion with director Andrew Morgan, Livia Firth, creative director of sustainability brand consultancy Eco-Age, and journalist Lucy Siegle, each of whom is featured in the film and has expertise to share on this important topic.
We have set aside a limited number of seats for the BoF community to join us at the event. Please click here to reserve your seat. Photo identification will be required on the day to attend. We look forward to seeing you there.
