MILAN, Italy — No one has asked to buy Italian luxury clothes company Moncler, its chief executive told the Financial Times on Monday, adding he would like to see what happens in the next three to four years.

"It would seem to me a shame to be selling now," Chairman and chief executive Remo Ruffini said.

He also ruled out acquisitions, saying the company was focused on its new product strategy based on faster-paced collections.
