Gucci names global head of diversity, equity and inclusion
Gucci has appointed Renée E. Tirado to the newly created role of global head of diversity, equity and inclusion. Joining the company from her role as chief diversity and inclusion officer at Major League Baseball, she will report to Gucci President and Chief Executive Marco Bizzarri.
SMCP appoints HR and sustainability director
SMCP, parent company of Sandro, Maje and Claudie Pierlot, has named Nathalie Malavoy human resources and sustainability director and member of the group’s executive committee. Malavoy, who joined SMCP’s HR team in 2017, replaces Jean-Baptiste Dacquin, who was recently appointed chief executive of Claudie Pierlot.
Lanvin names PR director
Lanvin has tapped Ryan Petz, formerly associate director at PR Consulting, to fill the newly created role of PR director. He reports to Lanvin’s vice president and commercial director Paolo Montorio-Archer.
Nordstrom taps Macy’s executive for general counsel role
Ann Munson Steines has joined Nordstrom as executive vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary. Steines joins the company from Macy’s, where she was senior vice president, deputy general counsel and assistant secretary for seven years.
Trussardi Group names CEO, COO
Following a change of ownership in February, Trussardi Group has named Maela
Mandelli chief executive, effective the end of September. Mandelli was previously at PVH Corp, where she was managing director for the Netherlands, Greece, Middle East & Africa. She replaces Tomaso Trussardi, who was previously chief executive of the company but continues in his role of president.
The group also announced that Giuseppe Pinto is confirmed as chief operating officer. Pinto, who joined the company in March, was previously chief operating officer at Sergio Rossi.
