Vestiaire Collective appoints new CEO
Vestiaire Collective has named Maximilian Bittner as chief executive, effective January 1, 2019. Bittner joins the company from Southeast Asian e-commerce group Lazada, where he was founder and chief executive. He replaces Sébastien Fabre, co-founder of Vestiaire, who will remain a director of the company.

Condé Nast announces new communications chief
Joseph Libonati has been promoted to chief communications officer of Condé Nast, replacing Cameron Blanchard. He previously served as senior vice president of corporate communications at the media company.

Moda Operandi appoints women's and men's fashion directors
Moda Operandi has tapped Lisa Aiken as its fashion director for women's and Josh Peskowitz, co-founder of men's boutique Magasin, its fashion director for men's. Aiken joins the company from Yoox Net-A-Porter, where she served as retail fashion director.

Out Magazine hires style editor from Hearst
LGBT magazine Out has appointed Yashua Simmons as its new fashion director, replacing Grant Woolhead. Simmons, who starts his new position on November 26 and will report to editor-in-chief Phillip Picardi, joins the publication from Hearst Fashion Group, where he served as style editor.

Spring Studios appoints president
Thomas Punch joins Spring Studios as global president and chief creative officer, where he will report to chief executive Richard Yaffa. Punch previously held the role of chief creative officer at Vice.

VF Corporation names The North Face vice president and general manager for EMEA
VF Corporation has appointed Jan Van Leeuwen as vice president and general manager of The North Face for the Europe, Middle East and Africa region. Van Leeuwen, who will also serve on The North Face's global leadership team, previously held the position of vice president, general manager of EMEA region for Vans, also a VF brand. He has replaced Kath Smith with immediate effect and reports to global president of The North Face Arne Arens and group president of EMEA at VF Martino Scabbia Guerrini.

Coty makes senior appointments
Coty Inc. has appointed Pierre Laubies as chief executive, following the resignation of Camillo Pane. Laubies joins Coty with immediate effect from Dutch coffee company Jacobs Douwe Egberts, where he was chief executive. The company is also replacing chairman Bart Becht with current company director Peter Harf, and has named Antoine Borde its senior vice president for e-commerce and digital transformation for its luxury division.

Nike announces leadership changes
Nike has named Ann Hebert its vice president of global sales, replacing Mike Best. Succeeding Hebert as general manager of Asia Pacific and Latin America is Carl Grebert, who was previously general manager of Jordan Brand for Nike. Both will report to Elliott Hill, president of consumer and marketplace. Nike also announced the appointment of Craig Williams as president of Jordan Brand, effective January 14. Williams joins the company from Coca-Cola, where he was president of the drinks company's McDonald's division, and replaces Larry Miller, who will become chairman of the Jordan Brand advisory board.

John Lewis chairman to step down
Chairman of John Lewis & Partners Charlie Mayfield has announced that he will be stepping down from his position in 2020. The company's nominations committee says that it aims to announce Mayfield's replacement in the second half of 2019.
