Agenda-setting intelligence, analysis and advice for the global fashion community.
LONDON, United Kingdom — What a week it was in New York! Bookending the proceedings, Givenchy's spectacular show on the Hudson River last Friday and Marc Jacobs' fashion-meets-entertainment extravaganza, held last night at the Ziegfeld Theatre, set a new bar for fashion week events that are veering more and more towards a form of theatre spliced with consumer entertainment.
At BoF, one of our highlights of the week, of course, was bringing the American fashion community together, in partnership with the CFDA, at a #BoF500 pre-launch event on Tuesday night at the New York Edition hotel, which was jam-packed with an inspiring cross-section of the people who make the American industry tick. We are grateful to Diane von Furstenberg and Steven Kolb for their support.
With New York behind us, we can now look ahead to London Fashion Week, including our #BoF500 gala event on Monday. We look forward to celebrating with all of you then.
