Agenda-setting intelligence, analysis and advice for the global fashion community.
PARIS, France — At the tail end of the men's shows here in Paris, much of the discussion on the front rows was focused on the 10,000-word back-story on the Yoox Net-a-Porter merger, published on BoF this week. The idea to do this kind of story came during a conversation I had in September with Graydon Carter, editor-in-chief of Vanity Fair, who advised me: "Every once in a while, write an in-depth story that everyone in the fashion industry would want to read."
Judging by the number of comments and emails we have received, and the people who have approached me with questions and feedback on the story, it was very good advice! It seems many of you would like to see more in-depth stories like this on BoF, which is something we are very keen to do. Send us your tips and tell us the topics you'd like to see BoF tackle at info@businessoffashion.com or share your thoughts in the comments below.
