LONDON, United Kingdom — Kate Moss is one of the most recognisable, most photographed and most talked about models on the planet. She has graced more covers of Vogue than anyone else. Now, after revealing her plans to build her own talent agency, she shares her advice for building a lasting career in modelling.
1. Choose Your Work Carefully
“You’ve got to be careful. One dodgy one — it’s like that thing actors say, 'You’re only as good as your last film.' It’s the same in fashion.”
2. Have Patience
“You need a lot of patience because it takes a long time to get pictures sometimes. You have to sit and let hair and makeup do what they want to for hours and hours sometimes.”

3. Give Them Something Unique
“You’ve got to work and make sure that when you go to that shoot, you’re going to walk away and they’re going to want to book you again because you’ve wiped the floor with everyone else.”
4. Don't Leave Until you Get the Shot
“I always make sure that I don’t leave the job without getting the picture. It’s just that thing in me. I would never be nine to five. If we need another hour to do the picture, I’ll do that.”
5. Be a Team Player
“People like working with people instead of working for them. I am working with brands in different capacities, like Naked Cashmere because they see that I’m on a creative vibe and not just a workhorse.”
