Power Moves | Abercrombie & Fitch, Jil Sander CEO Steps Down, Bettari Exits Valextra

LONDON, United Kingdom — BoF compiles the most important professional moves of the week.

Abercrombie & Fitch's New Hires
As part of Abercrombie & Fitch's rebranding efforts, the American retailer has announced Aaron Levine, former vice president of men's design at Club Monaco, as its new head of men's design. Katia Kuethe, former creative director of Lucky magazine, also joins as creative director. Prior to Lucky, Kuethe was senior director of creative at Kate Spade, while Levine has held design roles at Jack Spade and Rogues Gallery.

Jil Sander CEO Steps Down
After seven years, Alessandro Cremonesi is stepping down from his post as chief executive officer of Jil Sander on June 30. Cremonesi joined Jil Sander in September 2008, when Raf Simons was creative director. Cremonesi's responsibilities will be passed on to chairman of the board Franco Pené.

Bettari Exits Valextra
Alessandra Bettari is leaving her role as chief executive of Valextra to join Jil Sander, as its current chief executive prepares to exit. Selected by Franco Pené, president of Onward Luxury Group, Bettari will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day management of Jil Sander.

Iceberg Names Creative Director, Women's
Iceberg has appointed Arthur Arbesser as the creative director of its womenswear line. Arbesser launched his namesake brand in February 2013 after working in Giorgio Armani's studio for several years. His first collection for Iceberg will be in Spring 2016 at Milan Fashion Week.

Giannaccari Departs Etro
After only nine months in the role, Francesco Giannaccari is stepping down as general manager of Etro. Etro president Gimmo Etro will take over the role ad interim. Before joining Etro, Giannaccari was vice president of Tom Ford International.

T Magazine's Editorial Changes
T Magazine has announced a number of key hires and structural changes ahead of the Tmagazine.com site relaunch in August. Isabel Wilkinson, formerly senior editor at The Cut, has joined as senior online editor. Former Condé Nast Traveler editor-at-large Hanya Yanagihara joins as deputy editor. Yanagihara succeeds Whitney Vargas, who has been promoted to executive editor. Hannah Goldfield has been hired as staff editor from The New Yorker.
