Power Moves | Acqua di Parma Names CEO, Garage Appoints Editor-in-Chief

This week, Laura Burdese was appointed as chief executive officer at Acqua di Parma, and Condé Nast promoted Edward Cudahy to chief technology officer.

Acqua di Parma Names CEO
Laura Burdese has been appointed as chief executive officer of Acqua di Parma, effective immediately. She takes over from Gabriella Scarpa, who will continue in her role as chairman of LVMH Italy. Before joining Acqua di Parma, Burdese was country manager and managing director of Swatch Group Italy, and president and chief executive officer of Calvin Klein Watches and Jewellery Co Ltd.

Marni Appoints New Creative Director
Marni has appointed Francesco Risso as its new creative director, after founder Consuelo Castiglioni revealed she would be stepping down from the role after more than 20 years. Risso has worked for Anna Molinari, Alessandro Dell'Acqua, and Malo, before joining Prada in 2008 to work on women's show collections and special brand endorsement projects.

Condé Nast Promotes Edward Cudahy
Condé Nast has promoted Edward Cudahy from vice president of engineering to chief technology officer. Prior to Condé Nast, he held positions at Loosecubes and The Ladders. Cudahy will continue to report to Fred Santarpia, the company's chief digital officer.

Garage Appoints Editor-in-Chief
Art and fashion magazine Garage has appointed Thessaly La Force as editor-in-chief, effective immediately. She succeeds founder Dasha Zhukova, who will assume the role of editorial director. La Force joins Garage from Travel & Leisure, where she was a senior editor.

Paula Schneider Named CEO of DG Premium Brands
DG Premium Brands has hired Paula Schneider as chief executive officer, weeks after her departure from American Apparel, where she spent two years as chief executive officer. At DG Premium Brands, Schneider will have control over brands including 7 For All Mankind, Splendid and Ella Moss.

Eyeko Hires CEO
Cosmetics brand Eyeko has named Justin Fullerton as chief executive officer, effective immediately. Prior to Eyeko, Fullerton worked as Benefit's county general manager for Australia and New Zealand. Before that, he was general manager UK for Jo Malone.

Retail Director Exits Jaeger
Jaeger's retail director, Anita Lyons, has left her position after only six months. Before joining Jaeger, Lyons was head of retail at Whistles. Prior to that, she held positions at Arcadia and Topshop.
