Power Moves | Condé Nast France Names CEO, Vera Wang's New President

This week, Condé Nast France has tapped Yves Bougon as its new chief executive, while Peggy Eskenasi has been named Vera Wang Group president.

LONDON, United Kingdom — BoF compiles the most important professional moves of the week.

Condé Nast France names CEO
Yves Bougon has been appointed président-directeur général of Condé Nast France. Currently chief executive and representative director at Tokyo-based Hearst Fujingaho, he will join Condé Nast in May.

Vera Wang appoints president 
Veronique Gabai-Pinsky has resigned from her role as president of Vera Wang Group, due to personal reasons. Peggy Eskenasi will succeed her, effective immediately.

Kim Jones joins Dior Homme
Kim Jones, who exited his role as men's artistic director at Louis Vuitton in January, is set to join Dior Homme as artistic director, as Kris Van Assche steps down after 11 years at the brand. Jones will present his first collection for Dior Homme in June during Paris men's fashion week.

Leadership changes at Lanvin
Lanvin is parting ways with artistic director Olivier Lapidus, less than a year after his appointment. Joann Cheng, president of Fosun Fashion Group and chairman of the Lanvin board of directors, will become the interim chief executive of the house. Nicolas Druz, who has served as Lanvin general manager since 2017, will take up the new position of managing director of Fosun Fashion Group. The leadership changes follow the acquisition of a majority stake in the troubled French fashion house by Chinese conglomerate Fosun Group last month.

The RealReal hires COO and CRO
Luxury consignment company The RealReal has appointed Jun-Sheng Li its new chief operating officer. He joins the company from Walmart, where he served as senior vice president of e-commerce supply chain. Len Eschweiler, who has held senior roles at Amazon and Affirm, has been named as chief revenue officer.

Esprit announces senior reshuffle
Esprit Holdings has announced changes to the senior management: independent non-executive chairman of the board of directors and independent non-executive director of the company Raymond Or will become executive chairman of the board and executive director of the company; Jose Manuel Martinez Guiterrez will step down as executive director and chief executive, effective June 1. Anders Kristiansen will succeed him.

David Yurman names president
Luxury jeweller David Yurman has promoted Carol Pennelli to the role of president, effective immediately. Pennelli has worked at the company for 15 years, most recently as chief commercial officer; before joining David Yurman she served as senior vice president of sales, education and global special events at Bobbi Brown.

Vogue Czech Republic and Slovakia names editor-in-chief
Condé Nast International has named Andrea Běhounková as the editor-in-chief of Vogue's newest edition, Czech Republic and Slovakia, which is due to launch later this year. Formerly the editor-in-chief of Elle Czech Republic, Běhounková has also worked at Style and Žena a život. She is the first editorial hire to be announced; further appointments are expected over the coming months.

Christofle Hires CEO
Dubai-based retailer Chalhoub Group has appointed Nathalie Remy chief executive of jewellery brand Christofle. Remy joins from McKinsey and Co., where she spent two decades specialising in brand repositioning and marketing.
