LONDON, United Kingdom — BoF compiles the most important professional moves of the week.

Alber Elbaz Exits Lanvin
After a 14-year-long tenure as creative director of Lanvin, Alber Elbaz is stepping down from his role, "on the decision of the company's majority shareholder." Elbaz's departure is said to have followed disagreements between the designer himself and Lanvin's owner Shaw-Lan Wang and chief executive Michèle Huiban. Elbaz's exit from Lanvin places him in prime position for the post of artistic director of Dior, left open by the departure of Raf Simons last week. His successor has not yet been named.

LVMH's Management Shuffle
LVMH has named Anish Melwani as chairman and chief executive of LVMH Inc., effective January 2016. Joining from McKinsey & Company where he co-led global strategy and corporate finance, Melwani will be based in New York and will be responsible for the development of LVMH activities in North America. In a related move, Pauline Brown has resigned from her role as LVMH's chairman for North America, effective December, in order to pursue other opportunities.

Journelle's CEO and Founder Leaves
Claire Chambers is stepping down from her role as chief executive officer of Journelle, the New York-based lingerie retailer she founded in 2007. From November 1, existing members of the senior management team will take on Chamber's role, while Lyn Lewis, Journelle's director of operations and stores, will lead the business.

Chanel Names Executive VP of Fashion, US.
Chanel has promoted Joyce Green to the position of executive vice president of fashion for the US, effective January 2016. Green succeeds Barbara Cirkva, who announced in April she would step down in March 2016. Most recently, Green was senior vice president of multi brand retail in the fashion division, a role she has held since 2013. Prior to joining Chanel in 2007, Green held senior-level posts at Kiehl's, Clarins and Guerlain.

Sippe Joins Moda Operandi
Moda Operandi has named Chloe Sippe as general merchandising manager, non-apparel. Sippe will report directly to Mary Chiam, vice president of merchandising and planning. Previously, Sippe held senior buying roles at Net-a-Porter, Saks Fifth Avenue and David Jones.
