LONDON, United Kingdom – BoF compiles the most important professional moves of the week.

New Presidents at Banana Republic, Gap
American retail giant Gap Inc. has named Jeff Kirwan and Andi Owen as the global presidents of Gap and Banana Republic, respectively. Both senior executives come from within the company: Kirwan, 48, has been the president of Greater China for Gap Inc. for the last three years, while Owen, 49, spent 19 years at Banana Republic before heading up Gap Outlet. Gap's current global president Stephen Sunnucks will exit the company on December 19, and the appointments come a month after longtime CEO Glenn Murphy announced he will be stepping down in February.

Chaumet Appoints CEO
After ten years at Louis Vuitton, Jean-Marc Mansvelt will take over at the helm of Chaumet. Mansvelt will begin his new role at the Paris-based jeweller on January 1, succeeding longtime chief executive Thierry Fritsch. Mansvelt leaves the role of director of leather goods and accessories at Louis Vuitton. Fritsch, 59, has led Chaumet since 2001 and will exit the company to pursue other interests. Both Chaumet and Vuitton are controlled by LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton.

De Boni Exits Giorgio Armani
Graziano de Boni is stepping down from his role at Giorgio Armani Corp as chief executive officer of the North America division, after serving the Italian luxury label for nearly four years. He will be succeeded by the managing director of Armani's Swiss business, Giuseppe Marsocci, who will relocate to New York for the role. Boni's resignation will take effect at the end of the year.
