Aspinal of London hires design director
Giles Deacon has joined Aspinal of London as design director, effective immediately. The appointment comes after a well-received collaboration on GilesxAspinal capsule accessories. Deacon will continue to helm Giles Deacon Couture as creative director.
Asos names CFO
Matthew Dunn has been named chief financial officer at Asos. Dunn is currently chief financial officer at Britvic and will remain in the role until the end of his notice period in April 2019.
Issey Miyake appoints president
Takahiko Ise has been appointed president of Issey Miyake. Ise, who was previously in charge of the house’s production department, will take over from former president Masakatsu Nagatani, who will remain active at the company in an advisory capacity.
Louis Vuitton taps head of watches and jewellery
Catherine Lacaze has joined Louis Vuitton as head of watches and jewellery. Lacaze was previously vice president of marketing at Tiffany & Co. She will report to Anthony Ledru, executive vice president of global commercial activities at Louis Vuitton.
Snap hires Amazon executive as chief business officer
Snap Inc has named Jeremi Gorman as chief business officer. Gorman joins the company from Amazon.com, where he held the role of head of advertising.
Timberland names global creative director
Timberland has hired Christopher Raeburn as global creative director. Raeburn, who also helms his namesake label, will share his time equally between his own brand and Timberland. He will be based in his London studio and his first collection for the brand will be Autumn/Winter 2020.
