LONDON, United Kingdom — BoF compiles the most important professional moves of the week.

Jonathan Saunders Joins DVF
Jonathan Saunders has joined Diane Von Furstenberg as chief creative officer, effective immediately. Saunders, who closed his eponymous London-based label in December, will be responsible for the overall creative direction of the brand.

Hugo Boss Promotes Mark Langer to CEO
Mark Langer has been named chief executive officer at Hugo Boss. Prior to his promotion, Langer was the brand's head of finance and has been with the company for over 13 years. He replaces Claus-Dietrich Lahrs, who stepped down from his position in February.

Editor-in-Chief Leaves Teen Vogue 
Amy Astley, formerly editor-in-chief of Teen Vogue, has been appointed editor in chief at Architectural Digest, where she succeeds Margaret Russell. At Architectural Digest Astley will be tasked with expanding the brand's digital presence.

Carven Appoints CEO
In addition to Bluebell Group taking a majority stake in Carven, one of the Group's executives, Sophie de Rougemont, has been named chief executive officer of the French fashion house, replacing Henri Sebaoun. Prior to her appointment at Carven, de Rougemont held positions including fashion director and managing director within the Bluebell Group.

American Eagle Outfitters Names CMO
American Eagle Outfitters has appointed Kyle Andrew as chief marketing officer, effective June 6. Andrew joins American Eagle Outfitters from Kate Spade Saturday, where she has been head of global brand marketing since 2008. Prior to that, she held marketing positions at Kenneth Cole and Gap.

Henri Blomqvist Appointed CEO of Safilo North America
Safilo has promoted Henri Blomqvist to chief executive officer of its North American division, effective August 1. Currently, Blomqvist serves as chief commercial officer, a position he held for three years.

Target Hires Chief Merchandising Officer
Target has appointed Mark Tritton as chief merchandising officer. Tritton succeeds Kathryn Tesija, who departed the company this spring. He joins Target from Nordstrom where he oversaw the merchandising and design of more than 50 private brands.
