LONDON, United Kingdom — BoF compiles the most important professional moves of the week.

Mytheresa Names Global Fashion Director
Justin O'Shea, currently global buying director at Mytheresa.com, has been appointed global fashion director of the luxury e-commerce site. Heidi Hoelzer will take over the role of global buying director for Mytheresa.com and the flagship store, Theresa. Hoelzer has held leadership positions in merchandising and e-commerce at Scoop New York and Saks Fifth Avenue.

Vera Wang Appoints President
Veronique Gabai-Pinsky has been named president of the Vera Wang Group, succeeding Mario Grauso who left the company in 2013. Gabai-Pinsky comes from Estée Lauder, where she was president of the Aramis & Designer Fragrances division. Since resigning from Estée Lauder in 2014, Gabai-Pinsky has remained an advisor to the company and worked as a consultant for Vera Wang.

MatchesFashion.com Names Commercial Director
Richard Johnson has joined Matchesfashion.com as commercial director. He will oversee the company's global buying teams. Johnson was previously vice president of fashion buying at Middle Eastern retail company Al Tayer Group, where he oversaw menswear and womenswear buying at Bloomingdale's and Harvey Nichols in Dubai.

Racked Names Editor-in-Chief
Vox Media-owned fashion website Racked has appointed Britt Aboutaleb as its new editor-in-chief, effective February 1. Aboutaleb, who is currently managing editor at Yahoo Style, succeeds founding editor Leslie Price, who left the company last month.

Allure's New Editorial Leadership Team
Allure's new editor-in-chief Michelle Lee has made three senior editorial hires. Rachael Wang, formerly fashion market director at Style.com, joins as fashion director. Renee Rupcich, previously of Nylon, has been named design director. Amanda Weigher, who most recently served as managing editor at Teen Vogue, has been appointed managing editor. Jeremy Allen, who comes from Bloomberg and GQ, has also been named senior photo editor. Earlier this month, Allure cut 15 senior-level staff.

Hearst UK Digital Hires
Hearst Magazines UK has announced senior digital appointments at Elle and Cosmopolitan. Natasha Bird will join as content editor of Elle, and Bibby Sowray as digital news and features editor. Bird was formerly editor-in-chief of Yahoo Style, while Sowray joins from The Daily Telegraph, where she was fashion news and features editor. Cosmopolitan has promoted news and entertainment editor Claire Hodgson to digital editor.
