Li & Fung appoints chief digital officer
Hong Kong-based supply chain company Li & Fung has appointed Darren Palfrey chief digital officer, a newly created role, as of January 7. Palfrey joins the company from Gravity Supply Chain, which he co-founded and where he served as chief operating officer. He reports to chief executive Spencer Fung.
Clarins names new president
Katalin Berenyi, former chief creative of officer of L’Occitane en Provence and co-founder of Erborian, has been tapped for the role of president of Clarins. She replaces Natalie Bader in her new role, which she assumes February 1.
Lanvin names Bruno Sialelli creative director
Bruno Sialleli, former menswear design director of Loewe, has been appointed creative director of Lanvin. Sialelli replaces Olivier Lapidus, who exited the company in March after less than a year in the role.
Under Armour announces chief people and culture officer
Under Armour has named Tchernavia Rocker its chief people and culture officer, a newly created position, as of February 2019. Rocker, who will report to chairman and chief executive Kevin Plank, joins the company from her role as vice president and chief human resources officer at Harley Davidson.
Los Angeles Magazine taps editor-in-chief
Radar founder Maer Roshan has been named editor-in-chief of Los Angeles magazine and LAmag.com. Prior to his appointment, he served as editor of California-based men’s magazine FourTwoNine and led creative consultancy Awesome Projects.
Superdry taps Nike executive for creative director
Phil Dickinson, former head of sportswear at Nike, has been appointed creative director of Superdry as of January 22. He replaces chief product officer Brigitte Danielmeyer, who stepped down earlier this month for personal reasons.
Coty Luxury France names general manager
Coty Luxury France has named Mathieu Dufresne general manager, with immediate effect. Dufresne previously served as Coty’s vice president of global trade marketing and succeeds Béatrice de Noray, who is exiting the company.
