Power Moves | Lancôme Hires Lisa Eldridge, Haselden to Lululemon, Monocle Names Fashion Director

LONDON, United Kingdom – BoF compiles the most important professional moves of the week.

Lisa Eldridge Signs With Lancôme
British makeup artist Lisa Eldridge has been appointed creative director of Lancôme make-up. The French cosmetics company and Eldridge announced the appointment on Instagram simultaneously via a video of Eldridge in a make-up atelier. Previously, she was creative director of Boots No7 from 2003 to 2013. Eldridge has also collaborated with brands such as Prada, Chloé and Donna Karan on runway shows and advertising campaigns.

Lululemon Hires J.Crew's CFO
The Canadian yoga wear brand has named Stuart Haselden as its new finance chief, replacing long-time executive John Currie, who will retire at the end of the fiscal year. Haselden was most recently chief financial officer at J.Crew, and has previously worked at Saks Inc. Haselden, expected to start in February, will relocate with his family to Vancouver. At J. Crew, chief operating officer James Scully will step in as interim CFO while the company looks for a permanent replacement.

Monocle Appoints Fashion Director
Daphné Hézard has joined global affairs magazine Monocle as its new fashion director, starting from the publication's March issue. Based in Paris, Hézard will be in charge of all fashion features, business news, retail trends and show coverage across the magazine, its films, and radio station Monocle 24. Hézard joined Monocle as contributing fashion editor in May 2014. Previously, she worked as editor in chief of French women's magazine Jalouse.

Pamela Seidman Joins Nine West
Accessories chain retailer Nine West has tapped Pamela Seidman as executive vice president of marketing. Seidman joins the company from Wantful, where she was previously vice president of marketing and communications, and has previously worked for Valentino and KCD. In her new role, Seidman will be responsible for overseeing global marketing and branding for the brand, including digital media strategy and creative content.

Wonderland Magazine Names Creative Director
Wonderland Magazine has promoted Andrew Davis from men's fashion director to creative director, effective immediately. A graduate in fashion journalism at Central Saint Martins, Davis worked as style editor of The Face magazine, before becoming fashion director at Arena and Arena Homme Plus in 2003. Alongside his new role, Davis remains creative director at Rollacoster magazine.
