Power Moves | Management and Creative Shake-Up At Richemont, Tisci Exits Givenchy

This week, Richmont appointed Andrew Maag as chief executive officer of Dunhill, and Chloé confirmed the departure of creative director Clare Waight Keller.

Management Shuffle at Richemont
Andrew Maag has been appointed chief executive officer of Richemont-owned Dunhill, effective immediately. Maag, who succeeds Fabrizio Cardinali, joins Dunhill after a 10-year tenure at Burberry where he held the positions of chief executive officer for EMEA and senior vice president of menswear, amongst others. According to reports, Jaeger-LeCoultre chief executive officer Daniel Riedo is also leaving the company at the end of February for other opportunities, while the heads of Piaget and Vacheron Constantin are retiring, as Richemont continues its expansive overhaul of senior management,

Clare Waight Keller to Exit Chloé
Richemont-owned Chloé confirmed the departure of creative director Clare Waight Keller, whose Autumn/Winter 2017 collection will be her final for the house. A successor has not been named, although there is speculation she will be replaced by Louis Vuitton's senior director Natacha Ramsay-Levi.

Riccardo Tisci Departs Givenchy
After 12 years as creative director of Givenchy, Riccardo Tisci left the company on January 31 when his contract ended. As a result of his departure, the brand will not hold a runway show during Paris Fashion Week. He is rumoured to be taking up a role at Versace.

Stefan Larsson Exits Ralph Lauren
Ralph Lauren and its president and chief executive officer Stefan Larsson are parting ways following disagreements over its turnaround strategy. Larsson, who will exit the company on May 1, joined Ralph Lauren in November 2015 from Old Navy, where he served as global president. His replacement has not yet been named.

Abercrombie & Fitch Appoints CEO
Abercrombie & Fitch has promoted Fran Horowitz from merchandising head to chief executive officer. She replaces Michael Jeffries, who stepped down in 2014 after over two decades at the helm. Horowitz moved from the company's Hollister brand to take on the newly created role of chief merchandising officer in late 2015.

Tory Burch Names SVP, Global Digital
Tory Burch has announced Julie Atkinson as senior vice president of global digital, effective January 27. Atkinson joins the company from Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, where she worked for eight years. Prior to that, she held managerial roles at various digital brands and startups.

Vogue Paris Hires Fashion Director
Aleksandra Woroniecka has been hired as fashion director at Vogue Paris, effective February 22. Woroneicka comesfrom M le Monde, French national newspaper Le Monde's weekend magazine, where she was fashion director since its inception. Previously, she was editor-in-chief of Rebel Magazine.

Ed Burstell Leaves HBC
Only two months after his appointment as head of partnerships for Hudson's Bay Co., Ed Burstell has departed the company. Burstell joined HBC after eight years with Liberty of London, where he was instrumental in revitalising the brand through partnerships, including with Hermès and Manolo Blahnik.
