LONDON, United Kingdom – BoF compiles the most important professional moves of the week.

Michael Kors Taps Stéphane Lafay for Asia
Luxury brand Michael Kors has named Stéphane Lafay president of Asia, a newly created role, as the brand aims to build on its momentum in the region. Lafay will join Michael Kors on July 28 and report to John D. Idol, the company's chairman and chief executive officer. Lafay previously worked at Tiffany & Co. for five years where he held the position of senior vice president, Asia Pacific and Japan. Prior to that he was president of Bulgari Japan, and also served as general manager of parfums Nina Ricci Japan.

Toledano Replaces Grumbach at Fédération Française de la Couture
Ralph Toledano has been elected as president of the Fédération Française de la Couture, du Prêt-à-Porter des Couturiers et des Créateurs de Mode, effective in September. He succeeds Didier Grumbach, 77, who has headed the federation since 1998. Toledano is currently president of the fashion division at Puig, a Barcelona-based fashion and beauty house whose brands include Jean Paul Gaultier, Nina Ricci, Paco Rabanne and Carolina Herrera. He will continue in that role, alongside his new responsibility helming the federation, where he will be supported by Stéphane Wargnier, who is leaving Hermès to take up the newly created post of executive president.

Reinhard Mieck to Exit Labelux
Reinhard Mieck will step down as chief executive officer at Labelux, following the announcement that Joh A Benckiser Holdings will be eliminating its Labelux division. From July, JAB Holdings will directly oversee the Jimmy Choo, Bally, Belstaff and Zagliani brands. Benckiser said the proposed changes are a result of Labelux's success in attracting top management for its brands, and the improving performance of companies in its portfolio. According to the company, Labelux has completed its restructuring objectives and "is no longer necessary." Going forward, the luxury division will be overseen by Peter Harf, a senior partner at Benckiser, and Fabio Fuscio, who has been named partner and chief financial officer of JAB Luxury. The move will not result in redundancies, JAB said.

Adrianne Shapira Joins Gilt's Board
Gilt, the online designer flash sale website, has appointed Adrianne Shapira to the company's board of directors. Shapira has held the position of chief financial officer at David Yurman since 2012. She is also a member of the David Yurman's executive committee, which looks to build upon the brand's successes by capitalising on future channels and geographic growth.
