Mr Porter Editor Returns
The Net-A-Porter Group has announced the return of Jeremy Langmead to Mr Porter in the newly created role of brand and content director, effective June 1. Langmead was editor-in-chief and one of the founding members of Mr Porter when it launched in 2011. Over the past year he has served as chief content officer at Christie’s. Meanwhile, Mr Porter editor-in-chief John Brodie will become US editorial director, overseeing all US content.
Maiyet Names Creative Director
Declan Kearney, former design director at Alexander Wang, has been named the first creative director of Maiyet, the luxury artisanal brand launched by Paul Van Zyl in 2010. Kearney succeeds the label’s co-founder Kristy Caylor, who will continue to serve as president of the brand.
Coty CEO Exits
Coty Inc. has named Elio Leoni Sceti as its new chief executive, effective July. Sceti joins the beauty products manufacturer from European food company Iglo Group, where he is chief executive. He will take the reins from chairman Bart Becht, who assumed the role on an interim basis after former executive Michele Scannavini stepped down in September.
Thomas Pink Taps Head of E-Commerce
Thomas Pink has tapped Jason Nelson as head of e-commerce. Nelson has worked for the LVMH-owned shirt marker as an e-commerce consultant since January. Nelson, who has previously headed e-commerce at Hobbs and Coast, succeeds Nadine Sharara, who has been promoted to e-commerce and customer relationship management director at the group’s Moët Hennessy.
Andrea Linett Joins Styloko
Former Michael Kors global creative director Andrea Linett has been named board advisor at London-based fashion e-commerce site Styloko. Linett, who exited Michael Kors earlier this month, was also previously fashion creative director at eBay and founding creative director of Lucky.
