LONDON, United Kingdom — BoF compiles the most important professional moves of the week.

Ralph & Russo names chief growth officer
Helen David has been appointed to the newly created role of chief growth officer at Ralph & Russo, with immediate effect. David, who was chief merchant at Harrods until her resignation in June 2018, reports to chief executive Michael Russo.

Sonia Rykiel creative director exits
Sonia Rykiel has confirmed the departure of its creative director Julie de Libran, who joined the company in 2014. The news of de Libran's exit comes as the fashion house searches for a new investor.

Moda Operandi names chief product officer
Akshat Thanawala has been hired as chief product officer of Moda Operandi, a newly created role which he started on March 1. Prior to joining the company, Thanawala was vice president of product management at food delivery platform Grubhub. He reports to chief executive Ganesh Srivats.

Belstaff announces CMO
Belstaff has named Sheena Sauvaire its chief marketing officer. Sauvaire was previously global marketing and communications director at Topshop, a position she held since 2013, and reports to chief executive Helen Wright.

Hunter makes executive changes
Mark Reed, former chief financial officer of Anya Hindmarch, has been appointed chief financial officer of Hunter. Hunter has also added former Converse executive Jim Calhoun to its board of directors.

LVMH to add to board of directors, names Cheval Blanc city hotel lead
LVMH has proposed the appointment of Iris Knobloch, president of Warner Bros Entertainment in France, to its board of directors, following the departure of Bernadette Chirac. Photographer and director Yann Arthus-Bertrand has also been put forward for appointment as an advisory board member.

LVMH has also tapped Christian Boyens to oversee operations of its Cheval Blanc city hotels, a newly created division, effective April 1. Boyens joins LVMH from the Ritz Paris, where he was general manager. He will report to Olivier Lefebvre, chief executive of LVMH Hotel Management.

Verishop names brand evangelist
E-commerce start-up Verishop, co-founded by former Snapchat executive Imran Khan, has hired Steven Alan as a "brand evangelist" to support to its buying team. Along with running his namesake store and brand, Alan was most recently consulting on brand partnerships for Madewell and J.Crew.

Paule Ka names creative director
Paule Ka has named Maxime Simoëns its creative director. Simoëns joins the brand from Azzaro, where he led haute couture, men's and women's ready-to-wear lines. He will report to Xavier Marie, Paule Ka's owner since 2017.
