Yoox hires global brand and marketing director
Yoox has named Giuseppe Tamola its new global brand and marketing director. Most recently Tamola worked at Zalando, where he spent seven years working across operations, retail and performance and brand marketing.
Calvin Klein appoints CMO
Marie Gulin-Merle has been named Calvin Klein’s new chief marketing officer. She joins the fashion company from L’Oreal USA, where she has served as its chief marketing officer since 2014. She will take up the role later this spring and report directly to chief executive Steve Shiffman.
Eraldo Poletto Exits Salvatore Ferragamo
After less than two years at the helm, Salvatore Ferragamo chief executive Eraldo Poletto is stepping down. A successor has not yet been named.
Bobbi Brown names SVP
Jakob Daschek, currently senior vice president, global creative for La Mer, has expanded his role, adding Bobbi Brown to his portfolio. He will oversee the creative strategy for the beauty brand and continue to report to La Mer and Bobbi Brown global president Sandra Main.
Mac Cosmetics hires SVP
Philippe Pinatel has joined Mac Cosmetics its new senior vice president, global general manager. The former Birchbox president and chief operating officer will join the brand on March 5. He succeeds global brand president Karen Buglisi Weiler, who is exiting later this year after 20 years with the company.
Under Armour chief revenue officer retires
Under Armour chief revenue officer Karl-Heinz Maurath is retiring at the end of March. He joined the performance wear company in 2012 as president, international, and was named CRO in 2015. Upon his departure, regional leaders and the head of global retail will report directly to president and COO Patrik Frisk, while chief digital officer Paul Fipps will oversee Under Armour’s e-commerce business.
