Yoox Net-A-Porter Group Appoints Independent Directors
Yoox Net-A-Porter Group has appointed Vittorio Radice, vice chairman of la Rinascente S.p.a., and Eva Chen, global head of partnerships at Instagram, as independent directors. Prior to leading the repositioning of department store la Rinascente, Radice served as Selfridges' chief executive officer from 1996 to 2003. Before joining Instagram, Chen was editor-in-ehief of Lucky magazine.
Bonmarché’s Beth Butterwick to Join Karen Millen as CEO
Bonmarché chief executive officer Beth Butterwick is to leave the British clothing retailer and take on the same role at Karen Millen. She will remain in her current role until her replacement is found. In her four years at Bonmarché, Butterwick has led the company through its acquisition by private equity group Sun European Partners, and the IPO that followed. Previously, she held senior positions at Gap Inc. and spent 14 years at Marks & Spencer.
J Brand President Lynne Koplin Steps Down
Lynne Koplin has stepped down from her position as president of LA-based premium denim brand J Brand. Koplin joined the company in 2014 and has since expanded its wholesale operations and added items such as women’s tops and accessories to its product range. Prior to joining J Brand, Koplin spend over a decade at True Religion Brand Jeans, in roles including chief merchandising officer, president and COO. Her successor has not been announced.
Time Inc. UK Extends Marie Claire Publishing Director’s Remit
Justine Southall’s remit as publishing director of Marie Claire has been extended to include both Marie Claire and InStyle. Southall has worked at Time Inc. UK for four years, where she has been responsible for launching products such as Marie Clare Runway, MC@work and the Marie Claire Beauty shop. Prior to her current position, Southall was publishing director at the National Magazine Company.
GQ Makes Changes to Commercial Team
GQ has appointed Kristen Lazaric as creative solutions director and Holly Roberts as retail editor. Lazaric most recently served as group creative solutions director at Net-A-Porter Group. Roberts is promoted from her current role as senior fashion assistant at GQ.
