Ralph Toledano Leaves Puig
Ralph Toledano has unexpectedly resigned from his role as president of Puig's fashion division and chief executive of Nina Ricci and Jean Paul Gaultier. Before joining fragrance and fashion conglomerate in 2012, Toledano had been responsible for hiring designers as Alber Elbaz and Phoebe Philo at Chloé. He is succeeded by José Manuel Albesa.
Furla Appoints CEO
Furla has promoted Alberto Camerlengo from general manager to chief executive officer. Camerlengo, who succeeds Eraldo Poletto, joined Furla in 2011. Prior to that, he served as chief executive officer of Brooks Brothers Europe and was chief operating officer of Fossil Italia.
Calvin Klein Hires VP
Erika Albies has been appointed as vice president of Calvin Klein By Appointment, effective immediately. Albies comes to Calvin Klein from WME/IMG, where she served as vice president of global communications for IMG Fashion. Prior to that, she held senior positions at Prada USA and Giorgio Armani.
Topshop and Managing Director Split
Mary Homer, Topshop's managing director, is set to leave her post after more than 30 years with the company. Homer, who joined Topshop as a merchandiser, has held her current role for the past 11 years. She is set to replace lifestyle retailer The White Company's chief executive officer, Will Kernan.
Azzaro Names Artistic Director
Maxime Simoëns has been appointed artistic director of Azzaro, effective immediately. He succeeds Arnaud Maillard and Alvaro Castejón, who left the label in July 2016 after three years. Simoëns will continue to operate his own label M.X Paris.
Columbia Sportswear Hires SVP of North America
Columbia Sportswear has named David Lawner as senior vice president of North America direct-to-consumer, from the interim role he had held since joining the company in October 2016. Prior to joining Columbia Sportwear, he served as president, retail and e-commerce at Nautica.
