NEW YORK, United States — Leasing of stores at the World Trade Center site in lower Manhattan is almost complete, with a tenant list that includes Breitling, Michael Kors and an outpost of Mario Batali's Eataly, landlord Westfield Corp. said.
The 350,000-square-foot (33,000-square-meter) retail complex, to be known as Westfield World Trade Center, probably will open in the second half of 2015, Sydney-based Westfield said today in a statement.
The shops will be in and around the wing-shaped transportation hub designed by architect Santiago Calatrava, where 200,000 commuters will pass through daily, according to Westfield and an estimate from the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. There will also be stores on several levels of the office towers at 3 and 4 World Trade Center, Westfield said.
“From the core areas of fashion, dining, beauty, entertainment and technology, our mix is well-suited to the dynamic and diverse audiences we will serve,” Greg Miles, Westfield’s U.S. chief operating officer, said in the statement.

Among retailers at the complex will be shoe shops Camper and Stuart Weitzman, watch boutiques Breitling and Swatch and purveyors of beauty products such as Kiehl's, Aesop and L'Occitane, Westfield said. In addition to Eataly, food and beverage tenants include La Colombe coffee, Beer Table, Minamoto Kitchoan and a gourmet shop called Jones the Grocer.
