LONDON, United Kingdom — This week, just hours after designer Peter Dundas exited Roberto Cavalli, CEO Gian Giacomo Ferraris announced a radical company-wide reorganisation. Previously, Ferraris led a highly effective turnaround at Versace, which, like Cavalli, was once a poorly managed, family-run operation.

Meanwhile, a shake-up in the executive ranks at Condé Nast suggests more turmoil to come, as the media giant tries to transform itself from a print-led publisher into a major digital player. Also under pressure is Kering-owned Christopher Kane, which named its third chief executive in two years.

Elsewhere, LVMH's chief financial officer said there was "no way" it would do business with Amazon and London has become the cheapest place in the world to buy luxury goods after another disastrous week for the British pound. CoverGirl's latest face is a boy. Can Tory Burch build another billion-dollar brand?
