Anya Hindmarch Appoints CEO, Burberry Hires from Dior

This week,  Francesco Giannaccari has been hired chief executive officer of Anya Hindmarch, and Burberry has appointed Sabrina Bonesi to the newly created role as design director of leather goods and shoes.

LONDON, United Kingdom — BoF compiles the most important professional moves of the week.

Anya Hindmarch Appoints CEO
Francesco Giannaccari has been hired as chief executive officer of Anya Hindmarch. Giannaccari was previously general manager of Etro and vice president of Tom Ford, and has held key roles within the Gucci Group. He succeeds Helen Wright.

Burberry Names Design Director
Burberry has appointed Sabrina Bonesi to the newly created role as design director of leather goods and shoes, effective immediately. She joins Burberry from Dior, where she was head designer for women's leather goods. Before that, Bonesi held positions at Prada and Marni. Her appointment follows the addition of Net-a-Porter's co-founder, Claudia Plant, who was named as senior vice president of brand experience last month.

Time Inc. Names Vice President and Sales Brand Director
Staci Hallmon-Bazzani has been appointed as brand sales director of Time Inc-owned fashion magazine Essence. Most recently, Hallmon-Bazzani served as Essence's national sponsorship director. She began her career at Time Inc. in corporate administration and has worked at brands including People and Real Simple.

Tanya Taylor Hires COO
Tanya Taylor has named Jane Page as chief operating officer, a newly created role within the company. Page joins Tanya Taylor after having served as president of Lisa Perry and vice president of wholesale at Balenciaga.

Citizen Watch Appoints Chief Digital Officer
Citizen Watch America has hired Barbara Garces, a former Ralph Lauren executive, as its first chief digital officer. Garces, who led Ralph Lauren's digital team as vice president of wholesale digital and e-commerce, will be responsible for the development and implementation of the company's digital strategy.
