LONDON, United Kingdom — BoF compiles the most important professional moves of the week.

American Apparel Names Chairman
American Apparel has named Paul Charron chairman of its revamped board. Charron comes from handbag retailer Liz Claiborne, where he was chief executive officer. Susan Davidson, who currently runs fashion boutique Scoop and the Zac Posen design house, and Bruce Fetter, chief executive officer of apparel company St. John Knits, also join the board.

Adidas Hires Vice President and Creative Director
After leaving his position as global design director at Nike in 2014, Marc Dolce has officially joined Adidas as vice president and creative director. Dolce first joined Nike in 2010 as global design lead.

Ralph Lauren's Maureen Gray Retires
Maureen Gray, vice president of international trade at Ralph Lauren since 2011, has retired and her position will not be replaced. In addition to her role at Ralph Lauren, Gray is also the chairwoman of the US Fashion Industry Association. She retains her role until a new chair is elected later this year.

Fashionista's Key Hires
The Breaking Media-owned fashion and beauty website, Fashionista, has appointed Julia Stedman as general manager and associate publisher. Stedman comes from Condé Nast, where she was most recently Vogue.com's senior director of advertising planning and strategy. Tyler McCall, digital fashion editor at Teen Vogue, also returns to Fashionista as a senior editor, having left in 2015 to work at Style.com.

Bonmarché Appoints CEO
Bonmarché will replace outgoing chief executive officer Beth Butterwick, who is leaving to join Karen Millen in the same role, with Helen Connolly, senior buying director for George at supermarket chain Asda. Previously, Connolly also worked for Next as head of sourcing for womenswear and girls clothing from China, Thailand, India and Sri Lanka. She will take up her new role later in the year.
