Anthony Vaccarello to Yves Saint Laurent
Anthony Vaccarello has been appointed creative director of Yves Saint Laurent, taking over from Hedi Slimane, who exits the company after four years. Vaccarello leaves Versus Versace, where he spent three years, initially as a consultant and, since 2015, as creative director. Alongside his role at Versus, Vaccarello has overseen his eponymous label since 2009. His first collection for Yves Saint Laurent will be Spring/Summer 2017, and is set to be shown in October, during Paris Fashion Week.
Susan Chokachi Joins Gucci
Gucci has appointed Susan Chokachi president and chief executive officer of Gucci America, effective immediately. Chokachi joined Gucci in 1998, and most recently held the role of senior vice president of marketing and communications. She succeeds Christopher de Pous, who left the company at the end of March.
Coty Hires Simona Cattaneo
Coty has appointed Simona Cattaneo as chief marketing officer for the luxury division of the brand. Cattaneo, who leaves her position as Burberry's head of beauty, will be based in Paris. Before leading Burberry's beauty team, Cattaneo held positions at Dior and L'Oréal.

Gieves & Hawkes Appoints Creative Director
Mark Frost is replacing Simon Spurr as creative director of Gieves & Hawkes. Frost has worked in Gieves & Hawkes' creative team for four years. Prior to that, he worked at Tom Ford and Hackett. His first collection will be shown during London Collections: Men in June.
L'Officiel Names Editor-in-Chief
Marie-José Susskind-Jalou has been appointed editor-in-chief of L'Officiel. Susskind-Jalou succeeds Frédérique Dedet, who resigned this week. The appointment marks Susskindo-Jalou's second tenure as editor-in-chief of the title: she led the magazine from 1988 to 2003, prior to becoming the group's president.
Maxim Announces Publisher
Dan Ragone has been named publisher and group media president of Maxim magazine, where he will report to Maxim's owner and editor-in-chief Sardar Biglari. Prior to joining Maxim, Ragone spent six years as president and publisher of Interview. He succeeds Kevin Martinez, who was recently let go.
Souri Kim Appointed at Alexander Wang
Souri Kim has joined Alexander Wang as vice president of public relations and retail marketing. Most recently, Kim was vice president of public relations and communications at Moda Operandi. Prior to that, he was senior publicity director at KCD New York.
