Capri Holdings names Joshua Schulman chief executive of Michael Kors ahead of leadership transition. The former Coach chief executive will succeed John D. Idol as chief executive of Michael Kors. Schulman is tasked with speeding the transformation of Capri Holdings’ largest brand into a true luxury player, with plans for him to succeed Idol in his role as group chief executive in September 2022.
Condé Nast promotes Allure content director Jessica Cruel to editor-in-chief. Cruel succeeds Michelle Lee, who announced she was leaving the beauty magazine to join Netflix in June. Cruel begins her new role on Sept. 8. She has worked at Allure since 2019 and previously held roles at Refinery29, New York Magazine and other titles.
