Cartier Appoints CEO
Cyrille Vigneron has been named chief executive officer of Richemont-owned Cartier International, effective immediately. Vigneron was most recently president of LVMH Japan. He previously served as president of Richemont Japan and, prior to that, as managing director of Cartier Europe.
Public School Announces President
Public School has appointed Anthony Landereau as the company's first president. Landereau joins the New York brand from Marc Jacobs International, where he was vice president of global sales for women's accessories.
Designer Shuffle at Zegna, Berluti and Brioni
Major changes are afoot at European menswear brands Zegna, Berluti and Brioni. Stefano Pilati, former head of design for Ermenegildo Zegna Couture, has exited the Ermenegildo Zegna Group. Pilati is succeeded by Alessandro Sartori, who stepped down after five years as creative director of Berluti on Monday. In the newly-created position of artistic director, Sartori will be responsible for all Zegna brands and creative functions. Meanwhile, Brendan Mullane, creative director at Brioni, is leaving the Italian fashion house, effective immediately. Brioni and Berluti have not yet named new creative directors.
DVF Names CMO
Diane von Furstenberg has appointed Sarah Willersdorf as chief marketing officer. Willersdorf, who most recently served as partner and managing director at The Boston Consulting Group, will be responsible for leading DVF's marketing division. She succeeds Eran Cohen, who left the company last year.
Anya Ziourova Joins Farfetch
Online fashion marketplace Farfetch has appointed Anya Ziourova to the newly-created role of executive editor-at-large, effective immediately. Ziourova, who is based in New York and retains her current roles as fashion director of Tatler Russia and Allure Russia, will be responsible for Farfetch's global content strategy.
Globo Condé Nast Appoints Editorial Director, Brazil
Daniela Falcão, editor-in-chief of Vogue Brazil, has been promoted to editorial director of the Globo Condé Nast Group, a joint venture between Condé Nast and Globo Communications. Falcão, who has led the title since 2005, will assume editorial control of all publications in the group including the Brazilian editions of Vogue, Casa Vogue, GQ and Glamour. Silvia Rogar moves from deputy editor to the role of Vogue's editor in chief, under the supervision of Falcão.
Nowness Names Creative Director
Anna Higgs, head of digital and commissioning executive at Channel 4's Film4, is joining LVMH's video platform Nowness as creative director.
